Audit Manager

Johnson, Stone & Pagano is looking for an experienced, highly motivated and energetic Audit Manager to lead and manage multiple audits and to prepare and review necessary reports with an eye on quality, thoroughness and accuracy. A successful candidate for the role will keep abreast of changes in industry regulations, and develop his/her competency through continuing education and by obtaining additional professional certifications. The Audit Manager brings value to the firm by recognizing and informing senior management of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clients. Managers are expected to develop their own professional networks. This position offers excellent opportunities for leadership, training and mentoring younger staff, and firm ownership potential. Approximately 10% travel.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or closely related field
  • CPA certification/license
  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting, including managerial
  • Understanding of Single Audits in accordance with the Uniform Guidance
  • Ability to communicate with client senior management
  • Ability to manage within budgetary and time constraints while providing client satisfaction
  • Understanding of clients' businesses; ability to become "functional expert"
  • Extremely knowledgeable of FASB standards, GAAP and GAAS; and
  • Proficiency using CCH ProFX, Engagement, Excel, Word and Outlook

Audit Supervisor

Johnson, Stone & Pagano is looking for an Audit Supervisor with 3 to 5 years of experience in public accounting.  As a supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and concluding audit and attest engagements with the support of audit managers and shareholders while supervising one or more audit staff.  You will work with various clients in numerous industries, gaining exposure to the complex areas of audit and attest projects, including preparing or reviewing staff-prepared financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.  The Audit Supervisor will be responsible for providing timely client service that meets or exceeds client expectations: Preparation and/or review of necessary reports with an eye on quality, thoroughness and accuracy; Keeping abreast of changes in industry regulations, and developing own competency through continuing education and by obtaining additional professional certifications; and recognizing and informing management of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clients.  We tailor CPE, on-the-job training and mentoring so you can succeed and advance in your career.  Approximately 10% travel.
